Hear we have a VERY RARE piece of British Military history. The Middle parka was ISSUED and worn in the Korean war. Clearly dated as 1953 by A Whymam Ltd. Worn by 928 Terry Gwyer, his name and number are written on the main label and on the neck line. I haven't done any research to the soilder etc.
I can't clearly see the size as the number 6 is written over it but I can see the height of 5ft 10. All present and correct apart from the hood. 2 different shades of buttons on here, not to sure why but you can clearly see them. Slight thining to the Shearling lining in places on the colar, the body lining is in Fantastic condition. All pockets are complete and cuffs are in great condition as in pic 9.The outer shell looks superb apart from the mark on the left front near hem, will probably wash out but I didn't want to spoil it's authenticity. Overall considering it's age and use this is a superb parka. Pit-pit 27" Pit-cuff 18" Nape-hem 31" Pit-hem 19" inches. Big in the body as you would expect to allow room for uniform etc etc. If you require any further information I will gladly try to help.
