Rare Original post WW2 Korean War era US Navy 48 Star No. 9 Ensign flag manufactured by Mare Island and dated 1952. The flag is wool with sewn stars & stitched stripes. The flag is not perfect, is a little dirty and has some mothing that is noticeable but does not distract too much l. Overall the flag has a nice a nice look and is in above average used condition. It is hard to find these flags in great condition due to the salt air and hard winds of being out to sea. The flag reads US Ensign NO.
