Rare Korea Korean War Flag Vintage Gauze Type Material 39 X 20 20-54

We have for sale a rare and unusual vintage estate find. We have a Korean Flag that measures roughly 39-3/4 x 20. This came from a nice clean non-smoking estate. The previous owner was a Korean war veteran. We assume he brought this back as a war souvenir in the 1950s.

This flag is really very crudely made as you can see. The colors have bled into each other as you can see in some of the pictures.

It has only one tie left where it would attach to a pole. The other one is missing. The one that is still intact is tore as you can see. The material to me is very similar to what I would call gauze. This has the usual staining that one should expect.

It also has plenty of creases in it from being stored for many years. We have not tried to restore this or do anything with it. We will let an expert like yourself restore and conserve as you see needed. This is exactly the way we received it out of the estate and this is exactly how we will pass it on to you.
