RARE KOREAN WAR ERA RANDALL MADE ORLANDO, FLA MODEL 1-8 FIGHTING KNIFE, WITH ORIGINAL H. HEISER "BROWN BUTTON" LEATHER SHEATH MADE IN DENVER COLORADO. Rare Korean War era Model 1-8. Comes with the original brown buttonleather sheath by. The knife was carried in the Korean War by Louis F. Armstrong and his name is inscribed on the blade (as shown in the photos). This Model 1 Fighter is about 13 overall; classic slim blade is about 8. RANDALL MADE / ORLANDO, FLA. Stacked leather washers handle with colored fiber spacers, aluminum pommel and wide double-hilt bronze guard is in great overall condition; all parts are tight with no play. Original leather scabbard is in good shape with original stitching intact, but it is missing the stone pocket and a keeper on the front. Heiser / Maker / Denver, Colo. This is a very rare knife.
