The knife was carried in the Korean War by Louis F. Armstrong and his name is inscribed on the blade (as shown in the photos). This Model 1 Fighter is about 13 overall; classic slim blade is about 8. Stacked leather washers handle with colored fiber spacers, aluminum pommel and wide double-hilt bronze guard is in great overall condition; all parts are tight with no play.Original leather scabbard is in good shape with original stitching intact, but it is missing the stone pocket and a keeper on the front.
