THIS IS THE LAST ONE THAT I HAVE, NO MORE AFTER THIS! Up for your consideration today is a Korean War era PRC-10 low band VHF FM (38-55 MHz) backpack radio.

The radio itself is complete, and comes with the following accessories. CW-216A/PR Keith & Keith accessory case, with. AT-271A/PRC long antenna (appears to be NOS).

NOS AB-129/PRC long antenna base, 6/67 dated. AT-272A short antenna JFD Mfg Co. AT-272A short antenna base JFD Elec Corp.

NOS spare lamp, 2/68 dated. The CW-216A is in relatively good shape, with one frayed spot on back (see pictures).

Note the straps that are missing, and oxidation of the buckles and tabs. ID tag is marked Radio REC-XMTR RT-176/PRC-10. Has MWOs 11-612-4, -7 performed. Not MFPed, nice, clean bare metal chassis! I dont see any parts with dates on them, so I dont know when the unit was built. The inside is in excellent shape, with the occasional light oxidation that can be expected. Most of this simply brushes off. Pristine battery box, no corrosion inside! The case is in fairly good shape, but does have some casting porosity and oxidation where the backpack straps are against it, but it is only superficial and does not go through to the inside. The screw heads and tuning knob C clip have some oxidation, as do a couple of small places on the top. Expect dirt and the usual dings and paints chips on the top and case.

Should clean up well outside. I have powered up similar vintage equipment (RT-70 and GRC-68) and they fired up right out of the box. I have honestly described the item.

Packed weight for the radio itself will be 12 pounds. Any test equipment, body parts, props, pets, parts, children, gold bars, etc.
