M-1951 Korean War Era Army Fishtail Parka, w/mohair liner, SM/SM, IMMACULATE! I have here a US Army M-1951 "Fishtail" parka. Size on the shell and liner is listed as "Small", and what this translates to in terms of measurements can be found online. This fits quite loosely on me. Liner was made by Abe L.

Shell was made by Donchester Manufacturing, Inc. Zipper is a heavy duty Conmar, with pull. This parka is in unbelievable condition.

I can't find a stain, a hole, any fading, missing buttons... There may be a few little'fly speck'-sized spots which seem to wipe right off, but that is it. Absolutely gorgeous, looks just like it would have in the 1950s when it was handed out by the quartermaster. Hard to believe it is over 60 years old. I can't call it'unissued' or'new' or'deadstock', but it is in fantastic condition and was likely never worn or washed. Let the pictures be your guide...
