This is an original vintage U. Navy Korean War era First Version H4 Gentex Jet Pilot Helmet in size small. The helmet is in original vintage worn in flight condition. The exterior finish has the expected wear from use and age.

The interior leather parts are dry and brittle and show some flaking. These early Jet era helmets were worn by both Navy and Marine Corps pilots during the 1950s into the 1960s. This rare piece is just one of many original Militaria items acquired from a local veterans estate that we will be listing in the up coming days.
