MILITARY TELESCOPE FOR SYSTEM X-SAM A-7 MISSILE SYSTEM. The surface to air missile sighting telescope is made of brass, it is marked as being manufactured by KEUFFEL & ESSER CO. It is also marked SYSTEM X SAM - A-7 TELESCOPE ORD, CORPS.

The optics feature crosshairs and are clear. I believe the bottom tube held a level but it is missing. The telescope retains most of its original white paint showing some scuffs, scratches and wear. The brass lens cap is present. The telescope measures 19 inches long. Inside the stowage box are some accessories, most notably is another sighting devise marked "TELESCOPE, ELBOW M2A1". This scope is painted olive drab, the optics feature a reticle and a very clear.

The stowage box is covered in olive drab fabric with leather corners & carry handle. It is marked "'GS-17715" TELESCOPE ASSEMBLY MFG. The box is in overall very good condition showing some wear & age. The box measures 20 X 7 X 7 inches.
