I don't know a whole lot about the flag except my uncle that was in the Korean War has said that he cut this down himself. Most likely when he was stationed in Japan. It does show some wear. There is some light staining and some moth holes in the flag. I received the flag 20 years ago when my grandmother (sister to the uncle that was in the War) passed away.
EDIT: the bubble in the middle just above the 2 Japanese flags says something to the effect of Loyal, Patriotic, Giving back to my country through Loyalty/Devotion. This is a great piece of war memorabilia.
The flag measures aprox 34 inches x 22 inches. It is only part of the flag. I do not know where the rest of the flag is. This is all that he brought home.
The flag has been stored in a ziplock bag for the last 20 years. It has folds but the paint is still intact in the folds.
