It might date to WWII as well. Unfortunately it is in rough shape, the leather is very stiff and one of the straps is missing a section and buckle. There are also two pouch flaps missing. Every other example I have seen for sale is a reproduction, this is the only original example I've seen in a decade of collecting. If you have an questions, just ask.
