James''Jabby'' Jabara [1923 1966] was the first American and United States Air Force jet ace in history. Jabara flew a P-51 Mustang in Europe during World War II and achieved 1.5 aerial victories. During the Korean War he excelled in the jet aircraft, achieving his first air victory on 3 April 1951 and ended the war as the first American jet ace credited with 15 aerial victories earning the title as triple ace.

In 1966 Jabara flew combat missions in Vietnam and commanded the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing. On November 19, 1966, Jabara while on leave was tragically killed in a car accident. The autograph is signed''James Jabara Major USAF'' in blue fountain pen above his typed name and rank.

The card is postmarked Jan 8, 1952, and is affixed with one U. The card measures 6.00 x 3.50 inches and is in fine condition.
