A fixed bale McCord M1 steel helmet, net, and Korean War-era liner. The shell is in excellent condition to include the fixed bales which often get broken.
The fixed bales indicate that the helmet shell was made from April 1941 to October 1943. The chin strap and net are in very good condition. The Korean War-era (1953) Westinghouse liner is also in nice condition with a gloss finish (common in the 1950s for parades) and has a painted 1st Lieutenant rank insignia. The liner does not have a liner chin strap.
The M1 steel helmet, net, and liner display very nicely. Note: Foam head not included.
