1945 Named Wwii Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal Joseph B Switzer Ww2 Korean War

United States Marine Corps Staff Sargent Joseph Bernard Switzer (serial #475866) was born Jan. 14th 1921 in Chester West Virginia. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Oct. 12th 1942 at the Fourth Recruit Battalion, Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. He served stateside throughout World War II and earned this Good Conduct medal that's officially government engraved. He also served during the Korean War. The Staff Sargent passed away Dec. 30th 2000, and he is buried at Locust Hill Cemetery, Hancock County, West Virginia. Scroll down for scans of included documents.
